This is Jonty Hoad, Manager at Hoad’s Children Shoe Shop, as you will be aware our Back to School Period can be a very busy time. Therefore I am offering a free appointment system to all my customers so that you can avoid having to wait.
The full range of Back to School shoes will be in by the 1st August and I am available for appointments from this date until mid-September.
Appointments are available Monday - Saturday 8.30-5.00 but the shop is also open Sunday 10-4. Appointments fill up fast so in order to make sure you get the time you want, please book sooner rather than later. You can book an appointment by clicking the Book an appointment below. Please specify some ideal dates, times and the number of children that need fitting. Make sure that you a contact number is included incase there are any problems. Alternatively you can call the shop on 01732 453816.
Just a few tips for the Back to School period:
The first three weeks of August will be when we have the highest stock level and by the end of August the choice tends to reduce quickly.
8.30 - 11.30 will be the quietest times.
Avoid if you can 12-2 as these tend to be the busiest hours.
Saturdays are usually the best days to come in, as they are generally the quietest day of the week.
Leave a contact number when you book your appointment in case any problems that may occur.

Appointments can be booked with a senior member of staff during normal working hours, subject to availability. During last year's busy Back to School period over 500 children took advantage of this service.
